That Darn Groundhog

So, I guess the groundhog saw his shadow on February 2nd because it's STILL winter! Actually, I'm okay with some more winter . . . I'm really not ready to get out and work in my yard yet. I celebrated Groundhog Day by watching (of course) the Bill Murray movie called Groundhog Day. It's one of my all time favorites. I never get tired of seeing it.
A couple of weeks ago there was this big snowstorm and it created the most beautiful winter landscape. Brent went out and took pictures late at night. I thought a couple of them were worth posting.

You'll all be happy to know that now that it's February and approaching Valentine's Day, I've unplugged the green-lighted tree and left just the red one and the white one lighted. Once it's March (and therefor St. Patrick's Day) I'll just unplug the red tree and plug the green one back in. Laura thinks that it's the "lamest" thing she's ever heard of . . . very unclassy. I say "Blow it out your leg warmers, Walker"!
